Dusten was born in Toccoa, Georgia and later moved to Madison County where he graduated from Madison County High School. At the age of 18, Dusten gave his life to Christ while attending Redeemed Baptist Church. In 2016 Dusten started attending Danielsville Evangelical Church where he felt an immediate draw to serve the Lord. In 2019, Dusten was named Youth Pastor of DEC. Dusten’s hope is to help the youth at DEC to relate scripture to everyday life and to build their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Dusten and his wife Brie were married in 2012 and they have 3 boys Cylor, Pierce, Candler and one son Knox in heaven. Dusten is an avid Bulldawg fan and loves coaching his boys in sports.
